Our mission is to facilitate, educate and inspire others to arise to their fullest expression of health and well being through chiropractic care and massage therapy. At our center, we work to restore balance, movement, and function to the body, as nature intended. We provide people of all ages and all levels of health with the care and education necessary to naturally prevent illness, and actively achieve and maintain optimal health.
Our Name "Arise"
The word Arise is an inspiring action word that often creates images of movement and reawakening. Arise has many connotations that go hand in hand with the philosophy and practice of chiropractic and other forms of complementary medicine. The goal of this paradigm of health care is to renew and awaken the innate healing ability of the human body. As an individual receives care that supports the functioning of the body, that individual's true potential for health and well-being comes into existence, emerges, surfaces. As a result, he or she is literally able to ARISE, and is better prepared to enjoy life!

Debbie Couture, LMT
Debbie grew up in Rockville, Maryland and at an early age realized her calling to work in the healing arts. She graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2002 and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Debbie is a certified Nurturing the Mother¨ pregnancy massage therapist. Pregnancy massage prepares the body for delivery by helping increase elasticity and range of motion in the joints and muscles associated with childbirth. She is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, who teaches parents and caretakers the benefits and methods of massaging their children.
In addition to massage, Debbie is trained in the healing modalities of CranioSacral Therapy, through the Upledger Institute, and Reiki. CranioSacral Therapy is a light-touch approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and function. Debbie has attained the level of Reiki Master and Teacher of Reiki energy healing.
Debbie has been practicing in Frederick since 2002. In February 2007, she joined Arise Chiropractic Wellness Center. Her broad experience and training enables her to custom tailor each session to optimize the patient's healing. This approach is well matched with chiropractic - providing muscle release that supports a more productive structural adjustment.
Debbie works with patients who have chronic issues, as well as those who are just looking to relieve stress and bring relaxation into their life. In the end, Debbie believes that communication with patients and their healthcare providers is important in order to provide the best possible care.
